The Problem
Phineal company sought to break into the renewable energy market by developing a solar energy traceability platform based on Blockchain technology called Sello Sol. The challenge was to simplify the language of energy for a non-expert audience and create a service that allowed users to know the energy sources of the products they consumed.
The Design Process
The design process began with supporting the definition of the service followed by creating wireframes and prototypes to showcase the platform's functionality. The team also worked on developing the brand identity and energy certifications.
The Impact of the Solution
The Sello Sol platform simplified the language of energy for a non-expert audience, making it easier for small business owners and their consumers to understand. The use of Blockchain technology provided a secure and transparent way to trace the source of solar energy, increasing transparency and trust. The platform's functionality allowed users to know the energy sources of the products they consumed and, in a second phase, allowed the purchase and sale of solar energy. The use of associated designs, such as infographics, mockups, logo development, and energy stamps, helped to increase the visibility and recognition of the Sello Sol brand.
